What to expect from Alden Richards's upcoming 'purpose' concert 'Forward: Meet Richard Faulkerson, Jr.'
Are you ready to get to know Richard Faulkerson Jr.?
Alden Richards is set to hold a documentary concert called "Forward: Meet Richard Faulkerson, Jr." in January, and through it, the world will be introduced to the man behind the TV screens.
In an interview with Kapuso reporters on Saturday, Alden said that the concert won't just be full of performances.
"A side of me that they don't know so much, that's what I want them to see," he said. "Hindi siya masyadong performance. The storytelling will be determined by the performances of the concert but it's really more of... what do I stand for?"
"The 'Forward' concert is a purpose concert. I'm so proud of this project," he added.
"Forward: Meet Richard Faulkerson, Jr." was produced for the benefit of the AR Foundation Inc. — a foundation that Alden formed himself.
The AR Foundation Inc. aims to put children through school, driven by Alden's personal struggles with education in his childhood.
"Ang dami ko nang pinagdaanan in the previous years of my life and to be able to reach where I am is really something to be proud of. Ang daming life lessons, and I want those life lessons to be projected in this concert," Alden said.
Directed by Frank Lloyd Mamaril, the documentary concert will be held on January 30, 2022 at 8 p.m.
Tickets are now available through the Ticket 2 Me website for P1,999 (VIP) and P999 (GA).
