‘One Piece’ Netflix live-action series reveals cast members
The highly anticipated Netflix live-action adaptation of the manga “One Piece” has revealed its cast members!
The five main characters in the series will be played by Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji).
The Japanese series follows Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates, a group that sets off to find the treasure known as “One Piece” so he can become the king of the pirates.
The series, which would have 10 episodes, was announced by Netflix in January 2020.
The manga author, Eiichiro Oda, is one of the show’s executive producers.
“One Piece” is one of the longest-running manga series in existence. It was serialized as a manga in 1997 and spawned an anime in 1999. – RC, GMA News
