Daniel Dae Kim joins Netflix's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' as Fire Lord Ozai
Netflix has found its Fire Lord Ozai in Daniel Dae Kim.
The "Lost" star was announced to portray the role of the Fire Nation ruler in the live action adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

He joins the cast alongside Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara), Ian Ousley (Sokka), and Dallas Liu (Zuko).
Daniel expressed his excitement in an Instagram post, sharing a GIF of Ozai with the caption: "It's gettin' hot in here..."
"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is a popular animated series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. It follows Aang and his friends as they hone their skills and attempt to end the Hundred Year War in order to bring back peace among the four nations.
Ozai was the leader of the Fire Nation during the final years of the Hundred Year War. —JCB, GMA News
