‘Monsters, Inc.’ premiered 20 years ago. Feel old yet?

Can anyone believe it’s been two decades since Sulley, Mike, and Boo became part of our lives?

Pixar marked the 20th anniversary of “Monsters, Inc.” on Nov. 2 with a photo of the three iconic characters celebrating with musical instruments and confetti.

“It was 20 years ago today when our favorite monsters made their big scream debut,” read the caption.

“Happy anniversary to ‘Monsters, Inc!” it added with the hashtag #MonstersInc20th.

To refresh everyone’s memory, Sulley and Mike work in a company called Monsters Inc. where they frighten children and use their screams to generate energy across their human-less city Monstropolis.

One day, they chance upon the door of 2-year-old Boo, who suddenly sneaks into their world. Their adventures begin as the monsters attempt to bring her back home.

After the 2001 movie, a sequel was released in 2013 titled “Monsters University.” “Monsters at Work,” a spin-off series, also premiered in July on Disney+. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
