Blackpink's Lisa racks up 300M views for 'LALISA' MV in record time

The music video for "LALISA" has surpassed 300 million views on YouTube!

This makes Blackpink's Lisa the fastest female K-pop soloist to achieve this milestone, according to reports.

She achieved this feat over a month after releasing her debut solo single.

Lisa's fellow Blackpink member Jennie previously held this record for her song "SOLO," which garnered 300 million views in six months.

The hashtag #CongratulationsLisa is currently trending on Twitter Philippines with over 16,000 tweets.

"LALISA" was released last Sept. 10, marking Lisa's long-awaited solo debut.

The song made it to the prestigious Billboard music charts, placing 84th on the Hot 100 chart.

It also broke the Guinness World Records for most viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist in 24 hours and most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist.

Lisa is a member of K-pop girl group Blackpink, along with Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo. They debuted under YG Entertainment in 2016. —JCB, GMA News
