Coldplay, BTS top Rolling Stone 100 chart for the first time with 'My Universe'

Coldplay and BTS's collaboration song "My Universe" has debuted at Rolling Stone's Top 100 Songs chart.

According to Rolling Stone, it's the first time either band topped the chart.

BTS also made history anew by becoming the first Korean act to achieve this feat.

"My Universe" dethroned Drake's "Way 2 Sexy," which fell to no. 2.

Coldplay and BTS released their long-awaited collaboration on September 30. "My Universe" is part of Coldplay's upcoming album "Music of the Spheres."

Earlier, Rolling Stone released a new version of their a new version of their 500 Best Songs of All Time list, 17 years after they published the first one.

The list included BTS's first English song "Dynamite," which was released on August 21, 2020. The track earned the South Korean supergroup's first Grammy nomination. —JCB, GMA News
