Michael V. registers to vote, urges Filipinos to choose wisely

Michael V. is now a registered voter!

Sharing a photo of himself flexing his inked thumbs, the comedian took to Instagram to urge Filipinos to do the same and use their votes wisely through a poem.

In five stanzas, Bitoy briefly shared his observations on the history of elections and said opinions were more valuable when used for the country’s betterment.

It read:

We’ve been through the age of unfair elections.
Madalas, ang ending, sangkatutak na objections.
Umaabot sa People Power o kaya sa impeachment.
Kasi ’yung nanalo e wala namang commitment!

Pero this time sana, utak at puso ang gumana.

Bitoy is just one of the many celebrities who have already registered to vote in the 2022 elections.

Among those who went out of their way to register were Bianca Umali and Barbie Forteza, who had to line up for hours starting at 4 a.m.

Pia Wurtzbach, meanwhile, registered to vote in Abu Dhabi.
