First look at Netflix's 'The Sandman' shows Tom Sturridge as Dream
The Lord of Dreams has been summoned and no, we are not dreaming this up!
Netflix just dropped a one-minute teaser to its adaptation of Neil Gaiman's iconic graphic novel "The Sandman."
The clip shows Roderick Burgess, played by "Games of Thrones" actor Charles Dance, performing a ritual to summon Death.
Who he got, however, was Death's brother Dream, played by English actor Tom Sturridge.
Tom nailed Dream's eerie stare, so fans just got hyped for the release of the series!
Other cast members include Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer, Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, and Boyd Holbrook as The Corinthian.
Last year, "The Sandman" was adapted in an audio drama and an Act II was released last week following the success of the first installment.
Recently, Gaiman's works are getting several adaptations one after another. "Good Omens" was confirmed to have a Season 2, while "Anansi Boys" will also get its own series.
