Coldplay’s Chris Martin gifts BTS ‘worldwide handsome’ Jin his guitar

BTS member and “worldwide handsome” Jin just got a cool gift from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin!

On Friday, Jin shared a photo of himself holding a guitar and posing with the British singer.

According to a fan translation, his caption, which was in Korean, read: “the guitar Chris Martin gave as a gift after he finished his concert.”

The BTS singer called Chris “my friend who coolly gave it to me when I told him his guitar was awesome.”

He thanked the Coldplay singer and added that he was going to keep the guitar “as a family heirloom.”

The dark wood guitar, which had splashes of blue and purple color, was signed with the words “Jin” and “worldwide handsome,” a term used by ARMY or BTS fans to refer to the singer.

Earlier today, Coldplay unveiled “My Universe,” their collaboration song with BTS. Within 8 hours of its release, the song’s lyric video has been viewed over 9 million times on YouTube.

According to Atlantic Records, an “Inside My Universe” documentary will premiere on Sept. 26.

The song will also have an acoustic version and a “Supernova 7 Mix,” which will be released Sept. 27, and an official music video “coming soon.”

“My Universe” is part of Coldplay’s upcoming album “Music of the Spheres,” which will be out Oct. 15.

On Thursday, both groups shared photos of their reunion when BTS visited New York.
