Coldplay releases new teaser for BTS collaboration song ‘My Universe’

Coldplay and BTS’s collaboration song “My Universe” is coming so here’s a snippet to get you excited.

On Thursday, Coldplay shared a 16-second video teaser of the much-awaited track, with an animation of its lyrics shown across what looked like a galaxy.

“And they said that we can’t be together, because we come from different sides,” said its lyrics.

As of writing, the hashtags #MyUniverse and #ColdplayXBTS are the top trending topics on local Twitter with over 250,000 tweets.

Coldplay and BTS confirmed their collaboration earlier this month and had since been sharing teasers, including one where they’re jamming together in one room.

Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin went to South Korea early this year to work with BTS, and just recently, both groups reunited in New York.

“My Universe,” out Sept. 24, is part of Coldplay’s upcoming album “Music of the Spheres” which will be released on Oct. 15. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
