BTS, Coldplay collaborate on new single 'My Universe'

It's official: BTS and Coldplay are collaborating on a single!

The two groups confirmed the news on Twitter, Monday, with a photo showing the poster of the song titled "My Universe."

The posts, which contained the hashtags #ColdplayXBTS and #MyUniverse, said the single will drop on September 24. It is available for pre-save and pre-order through their website.

As of writing, Coldplay is the top trending topic on Philippine Twitter with over 400,000 tweets.

"My Universe" will be part of Coldplay's upcoming album titled "Music of the Spheres," which will drop on October 15.

The two groups' collaboration was first teased when "My Universe" had been uploaded on the music lyric database site MatchLyric last July.

Earlier this month, Coldplay's Chris expressed that he has a lot of love and respect for BTS.

Meanwhile, in February, the record-breaking South Korean group covered Coldplay's iconic single "Fix You" on "MTV Unplugged," which earned praises from the British rock band.
