‘Fake Love’ becomes BTS’s 5th music video to reach 1B views

BTS has yet again achieved another milestone in their music career!

According to a Soompi report Wednesday, “Fake Love” has officially become the global sensation’s fifth music video to surpass one billion YouTube views.

It follows “DNA,” “Boy With Luv,” “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix),” and “Dynamite,” which is also the fastest Korean group music video to achieve the feat.

As of writing, the hashtag #FakeLove1B is the top trending topic on Philippine Twitter with 116,000 tweets from fans who are reliving the era with photos and videos.

BTS unveiled on Aug. 27 their collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion for “Butter,” which was initially released in May and held the top position on Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks.

On Tuesday, Billboard announced that “Butter” climbed six places from last week and claimed its 10th week on the top spot.
