Red pill or blue pill? 'Matrix 4' unveils cool, interactive first look at Keanu Reeves' return as Neo

“The Matrix Resurrections” has launched an interactive website where fans can get a first look at the iconic film series’ newest installment.
Upon clicking the link, you’ll be greeted by a very familiar “choice” — the red pill or blue pill.
Clicking on either pills leads to two different teasers for the full trailer, featuring Keanu Reeves reprising his role as Neo, as well as characters played by Jonathan Groff (“Mindhunter”) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (“Aquaman).
Those who click the blue pill hear a voice over saying: “You’ve lost your capacity to discern reality from fiction. What’s real is here and now.”
The voice then reads out the time, and adds “Anything else is just your mind playing tricks on you… We don’t want anyone to get hurt, do we?”
Those who click the red pill are greeted with a different voice that says, “This is the moment for you to show us which is real.”
The voice then tells you what you “believe” to be the time, but adds “that couldn’t be further from the truth.”
The cool, interactive experience has been hyping up fans for the full trailer to be released this September 9.
"The Matrix Resurrections" is scheduled for release on December 22, 2021 concurrently in theaters and on HBO Max. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
