Kim Seon Ho reveals he learned how to surf and be a barista for ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’
Kim Seon Ho revealed that he had a lot of skills to learn for his role on the upcoming romance comedy series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha."
During a press conference on Tuesday, Seon Ho shared that not only did he have to learn how to surf, but he also had to learn how to be a good barista because his character Hong Du Sik was an odd jobs expert who was certified in many skills.
"I had to set apart time to learn those traits. I learned how to surf. I learned from a barista how to make good coffee. I needed lead time before shooting," he said.
Meanwhile, Shin Min A, who plays a pragmatic dentist named Yoon Hye Jin, said she visited her dentist to observe how they worked.
"I visited my dentist so I had my teeth looked at and tried to observe what kind of facial expressions my dentist had," she said.
Directed by Yu Je Won, "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" is a heart-warming story about a perfectionist city girl, Hye Jin, who moves to a seaside village and meets a jack-of-all-trades handyman, Du Sik. Despite the differences they find in one another, they grow fond of each other.
The romantic comedy series, which promises squabbles and sweet moments, is set to premiere on Netflix this coming Aug. 28. – RC, GMA News
