Sarah Jessica Parker shares on-set photos of upcoming 'Sex and the City' reboot
Sarah Jessica Parker just gave "Sex and the City" fans an exciting first look at the upcoming reboot called "And Just Like That."
The actress, who is reprising her lead role as Carrie Bradshaw, posted several photos with her cast members on set, including Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, who play Carrie's best friends Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York.
Parker, Nixon and Davis were joined by newcomer Nicole Ari Parker in a set of fabulous group pics.
Blatantly absent was Kim Catrall, who will not be reprising her role as Carrie's third best friend Samantha Jones.
According to Variety, “And Just Like That” would follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate love and friendship in their 50s.
The original “Sex and the City”s series, created by Darren Star based on the novel of the same name, ran for six seasons until 2004.
The iconic story about a glamorous editor looking for love in NYC was adapted into two films, “Sex and the City” in 2008 and “Sex and the City 2” in 2010. A prequel starring AnnaSophia Robb, “The Carrie Diaries” also premiered in 2013. —JCB, GMA News
