Red Velvet returns with empowering 'Queendom' album, music video
Red Velvet finally made their much-awaited comeback with the release of their sixth mini album "Queendom" on Monday.
The K-Pop group also dropped the music video for the title track where Irene, Yeri, Joy, Wendy, and Seulgi are seen fiercely running a shop and enjoying their time together.
The "Queendom" album features six songs: the title track, "Pose," "Knock on Wood," "Hello, Sunset," "Better Be," and "Pushin' N Pullin.'"
As of writing, the music video has reached over 450,000 views. The hashtag #QueendomCome is also the top trending topic on Philippine Twitter with over 207,000 tweets.
The group's last full comeback was in December 2019 when they released the repackaged album "The ReVe Festival: Finale." It includes their hit song "Psycho."
Meanwhile, Wendy and Joy made their solo debut this year with "Like Water" and "Hello," respectively.
Composed of Irene, Yeri, Joy, Wendy and Seulgi, Red Velvet debuted in 2014. They are known for songs "Russian Roulette," "Bad Boy," and "Red Flavor," among others.
