‘Pokemon’ is now officially on TikTok, and here’s everything you need to know

You heard it right: Pokemon has launched an official TikTok account!

But what does this mean for all the Poke-fans out there, exactly?

For one thing, the Pokémon Company joined the platform so they can deliver an “even closer” Pokémon experience to everyone.

This means TikTokers can catch fun and unique content featuring Pikachu and friends, including dance videos and updates.

“Through the Official Pokémon TikTok account, we hope many people will learn about Pokémon and develop a new form of socialization,” the company said.

“Pokemon” is a popular Japanese series about cartoon monsters that are captured by players and trained to battle each other.

It has become iconic among 90s kids through video games and trading cards.
