'White Chicks' star Marlon Wayans says a sequel is 'necessary'

Who wants a sequel to the classic "White Chicks"?

Well, Marlon Wayans, for one.

In an interview with Variety, the actor said, "I think ‘White Chicks 2’ is necessary."

"I think we’ve tightened up so much that we need to loosen our ties a bit and laugh a little bit," he added.

Marlon starred in "White Chicks" with his brother Shawn in 2004.

And while it's been 17 years since then, he believes it will be a "juggernaut."

He added that he and Shawn have many ideas for a sequel.

"And the world just keeps giving us more. ‘White Chicks 2’ is writing itself," he said.

"White Chicks" is a comedy about two FBI agents who go undercover as women to solve a kidnapping plot. —JCB, GMA News
