Chloe Bennet exits 'Powerpuff Girls'; series on the lookout for new Blossom

Chloe Bennet has reportedly left the cast of the upcoming "Powerpuff Girls" live-action series.

According to Variety, this is due to scheduling conflicts because The CW has decided to redevelop and reshoot the pilot.

Casting for a new third Powerpuff Girl will begin later this year, the report added.

Last April, The CW released a first look image of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup in the upcoming show.

Dove Cameron is still set to play Bubbles, and Yana Perrault will play Buttercup.

The all new "Powerpuff Girls" is based on the animated kids' show by Craig McCracken. It follows the team of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, who were accidentally created by Professor Utonium when he mixed in Chemical X with sugar, spice, and everything nice.
