Brie Larson confirms 'Captain Marvel 2' has begun filming

Captain Marvel is back on set!

According to Comic Book, Brie Larson has confirmed that she's now filming the sequel to hit film "Captain Marvel" titled "The Marvels."

In an interview with Sirus XM, the actress gushed about the set in London and said filming has been "pretty surreal."

"I mean, when you’re doing films like this, they’re unlike anything else. Huge sets. Huge amounts of people on set. Lots of specialists. It’s a really unique experience," she said.

"I’m a huge fan of Disneyland, so to me it feels like I get to go to my own private Disneyland every single day. Because they’re building all of these insane worlds that no one else knows about, no one else gets to see. You’ll see it when the movie comes out. But for now, it’s just mine. I’m in sets that are bigger than you can imagine right now. It’s really special," she added.

"The Marvels" is set to continue Captain Marvel's story in the present day.

The first film, released in 2019, was set in the '90s.

"The Marvels" is set to premiere on November 11, 2022. —JCB, GMA News
