Michael V.’s ‘Family History’ becomes Top 2 trending movie on Netflix Philippines

“Family History,” the family drama film directed by Michael V., just became the Top 2 trending movie on Netflix Philippines.

The Kapuso actor and comedian proudly shared the news on Instagram. “‘Pag pinanood n’yo ‘to ng 46x malamang mag-number one ‘to!” he joked.

As of Friday afternoon, “Family History” bested foreign titles on the list, including two “Resident Evil” films, “Ad Astra” starring Brad Pitt, and the Korean zombie drama “Kingdom: Ashin of the North.”

The Top 10 films on Netflix in the Philippines as of this writing are as follows:

In his IG post, Michael V said a big thank you all the viewers for supporting his directorial debut, and offered to answer fan questions about the movie in his next vlog.
