Here's a first look at Amazon's upcoming 'Lord of the Rings' series
In case you don't know, "Lord of the Rings" is getting a series on Amazon.
On its official Twitter account, the show announced its September 2, 2022 release date and unveiled a first look image.

The photo shows a figure standing on a stretch of grass, looking out onto a white city among the mountains.
Amazon is currently filming the series in New Zealand. The story is set to take place thousands of years before the events of "The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings."
"The Lord of the Rings," based on J. R. R. Tolkien's epic fantasy novel, was adapted into a live-action film trilogy starting in 2001.
