Paolo Contis, Yen Santos’ movie ‘A Faraway Land’ to stream on Netflix this August

Paolo Contis and Yen Santos’ movie “A Faraway Land” is finally coming to Netflix this August!

The film is set to premiere on Aug. 19 according to Mavx Productions Inc. and as shown on the platform’s “Coming Soon” section.

“A Faraway Land” is set in the Faroe Islands where a “complicated love story” sparks between a married woman and a reporter working on a documentary about OFWs.

Last year, Paolo teased about the film by introducing their characters, Mahjoy and Nico, and shared some majestic snaps from their dreamy location.

Mavx Productions is also the team behind “Through Night and Day,” where Paolo starred alongside Alessandra de Rossi. It was Google’s most-searched movie in the Philippines in 2020. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
