'Shaman King' reboot heading to Netflix this August

The new "Shaman King" is premiering on Netflix on August 9.
Netflix announced the anime series reboot as part of its August lineup on Tuesday.
Other anime shows in the lineup include "Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild" and "Edens Zero."
"Shaman King" follows Yoh Asakura, who is aiming to become the next Shaman King.
The Shaman King is the one who can contact the king of spirits and reshape the world. Every 500 years, shamans, who can commune between the worlds of the living and dead, compete in the Shaman Fight to become the next Shaman King.
The rebooted series will adapt all 35 volumes of the manga by Hiroyuki Takei, which was serialized in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump starting 1998 until it was cancelled in 2004.
It was first adapted into anime in 2001. —JCB, GMA News
