New 'Dune' trailer shows Timothée Chalamet as blue-eyed Paul Atreides

Denis Vileneuve’s highly-anticipated sci-fi film “Dune” just released a new trailer.

The clip features several action-packed shots of Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, who strives to fulfill his destiny on the desert planet Arrakis.

Towards the end, fans are given a glimpse of Paul in full battle gear and bright blue eyes, which fans would know is an effect of "melange,” the covetous “spice” that could only be sourced in Arrakis.

The trailer also includes more shots of the gigantic sandworms roaming the desert; as well as Rebecca Forguson as Paul’s mother, Lady Jessica; Oscar Isaac as his father, the Duke Leto Atreides; and Jason Momoa as the Atreides’ loyal swordmaster, Duncan Idaho.

“Dune” was adapted from Frank Herbert’s legendary 1965 novel of the same name.

The star-studded cast also includes Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dave Bautista.
