Here's how your 'Permission to Dance' cover can get noticed by BTS

Want to get your "Permission to Dance" cover noticed by BTS?

The Grammy-nominated global icons are inviting ARMYs to participate in the Permission to Dance Challenge on YouTube Shorts starting on Friday.

It's the first-ever worldwide challenge on Shorts, which allows anyone to create a 15-second video right from the YouTube application.

"We hope that we can bring people all over the world together to dance along with us, free of any limits or constraint," said Shin Young Jae, President of Big Hit Music in a release.

"We are very excited to watch this challenge come to life on YouTube Shorts and can't wait to see what you all create," he added.

In their cover, fans should replicate the core dance moves from the "Permission to Dance" music video which features international signs for peace, dance, and joy.

Participants should also use the hashtags #PermissiontoDance and #Shorts so their videos can be considered and be included in BTS' compilation video.

The challenge will run from July 23 to August 14, exclusively on YouTube Shorts.

"Permission to Dance," which was co-written with Ed Sheeran, was released last July 9.

Shortly after its premiere, fans were quick to notice that the choreography featured sign language.

Best of luck on showing your moves, ARMYs!
