John Mayer drops new album 'Sob Rock'

John Mayer just dropped his eighth studio album called "Sob Rock."

This is the first time the American singer-songwriter is sharing new music since his album "The Search For Everything" in 2017.

In an Instagram post, Mayer said that "Sob Rock" is the only record he's made that he listens to recreationally.

The 10-track album features collaboration with artists such as country pop sensation Maren Morris on lead single “Last Train Home” and hip-hop/R&B producer No I.D. on “New Light.”

Following the album release, Mayer has also dropped the music for “Shot in the Dark,” a visual narrative directed by Mathew Miguel Cullen.

Mayer also created an online buzz when he sent Blackpink member Rosé a guitar as a gift after she covered his song "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room." —JCB, GMA News
