Kara David to teach masterclass on documentary filmmaking for kids
Young and aspiring documentary filmmakers and journalists are in for a treat!
Broadcast journalist Kara David is set to teach a masterclass on documentary filmmaking for children.
Presented by the National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT), the 2021 DokyuBata Masterclass will also feature documentary filmmaker Bryan Brazil and video editor and graphics artist Fredie Abril.
The 3-day virtual workshop, which will be open to kids 12 years old and above, will start off with David who will discuss pre-production. The second day will be led by Brazil who will teach about production, and Abril will wrap up the workshop with lessons on post-production.
According to NCCT, due to the high volume of participants, the first 1,000 registrants will be prioritized for the first batch, while those who will be accommodated for the second batch will receive a confirmation email.
The classes for the first batch will be held on July 19, 21, and 23, while those for the second batch will be on July 26, 28, and 30.
