BTS ‘Permission to Dance’ makes TV debut on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
BTS’s feel-good English song “Permission to Dance” just made its TV debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”!
The performance, which also premiered on YouTube, showed the members in preppy outfits at what looked like a vacant area inside a mall.
The whole number was filled with purple balloons, and on the final chorus, young backup dancers joined the group.
As of writing, the video has reached more than 455,400 views, while the hashtag #BTSonFallon topped the trending topics in the Philippines with over a million tweets.
“Permission to Dance,” which was co-written with Ed Sheeran, was released on Friday.
Shortly after its premiere, fans were quick to notice that the choreography featured sign language for various words including fun, dance, and peace.
“Permission to Dance” follows the highly successful “Butter,” which has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart consecutively for 7 weeks since its launch. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
