Pixar drops teaser trailer for ‘Turning Red’

The first teaser trailer for Pixar and Disney’s “Turning Red” is finally here!

In the almost two-minute video released Tuesday, 13-year-old student Mei Lee is seen paying attention to her class until she is informed that her mom Ming is outside.

Seeing her mom arguing with a guard, Mei Lee starts feeling uncomfortable, before she turns red and grows into a giant red panda.

The next scenes show Mei Lee running away and flying to go back home, causing a commotion along the way, while her mother chases her.

When she gets home, she tries to calm herself down and return to normal by brushing her hair.

Mei Lee is voiced by young actress Rosalie Chiang while “Grey’s Anatomy” star Sandra Oh lends her voice to Ming.

Directed by Oscar winner Domee Shi, “Turning Red” will premiere on March 11, 2022. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
