Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos take a breather in Masungi Georeserve

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos took a breather as they went on an adventure in Masungi Georeserve in Rizal.

Sharing photos of their experience, Gabbi said it was a much-needed "pause."

"The past few weeks, my mind’s been so occupied with thoughts that aren’t needed. Thoughts that led to anxiousness, doubt, and lack of self fulfillment. Overthinking has been one of my biggest struggles ever since," she added.

Gabbi said she knew she needed to take a rest "to collect my thoughts and be present once again."

The Kapuso actress said nature will always be her go-to breather.

"I love how it teaches us that there is so much more in life than being clouded with negative thoughts," she said.

"It reminded me that the world will never revolve around my problems and that there is soooo much more that we can put our energy into," she added.

Gabbi said it is a reminder that "it’s okay to breathe once in a while. Get in touch with yourself and be present."

Masungi couldn't have been a better choice. It is home to all sorts of living things, from droves of fireflies lighting up the evening to eight-feet tall flowers to new subspecies of microsnails

The destination in Rizal has repeatedly won awards, like the Water Changemaker Award for restoring the Marikina Water shed. Sisters Ann and Billie Dumaliang, who are at the forefront of Masungi's conservation work have also been recognized by Vanity Fair— Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
