The UP Ikot Jeep and tricycle as bridal cars? These couples did it
Instead of using a typical white car, a couple decided to use the famous UP Ikot Jeep as their bridal car on their wedding day.
The bride Sharmaine thought the UP Ikot Jeep would be a perfect vehicle for their Filipiniana-themed wedding.
In an episode of IRL, they showed how they glammed up the jeepney with flowers and white curtains to give it the bridal vehicle feels.
Sharmaine said she would also regularly ride the UP Ikot Jeep, back when she was still studying in the campus.
The couple said it has also helped the driver of the jeep financially since they haven't had trips inside UP Diliman due to the pandemic.
Meanwhile, another couple decided to use the tricycle owned by the father of the bride as their bridal vehicle.
The bride, Kareeza, said the tricycle is special for her since it is owned by her father and it was what has supported their family.
They levelled up the look of the tricycle to make it look like a bridal vehicle, Kareeza said. It was also her way of saying thank you to her father. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
