Rabiya Mateo arrives back home in the Philippines
Rabiya Mateo is back in the Philippines after her Miss Universe stint in the United States!
On her Instagram stories Thursday, Rabiya gave a tour of where she would be staying for a few days.
“Hey, guys! After a 14-hour flight, I safely arrived here in my hotel [where] I will be in quarantine for 10 days,” she said.
The Miss Universe Philippines organization also shared the good news with photos of Rabiya carrying a bouquet of flowers.
“Welcome home Rabiya!” its caption read. “The phenomenal queen is finally back in Manila after being away for over two months.”
On its Instagram stories, the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 titleholder was seen waving as she exited the airport.
Earlier, Rabiya expressed her excitement about finally going back home.
Rabiya flew to Florida to represent the country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant held in May. Mexico’s Andrea Meza won while she exited the competition as part of the Top 21.
After the pageant, Rabiya went to do some solo traveling. Based on her account, she visited locations like Los Angeles, San Jose, Napa Valley, and New York City. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
