Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo buy house with profits from online selling

Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo were able to buy a house and lot with their earnings from the online selling business they started last year.

Sharing a photo of their soon-to-be-home on Instagram, Lovely said she and Benj did not expect to receive such a blessing.

“Blessing from the heavens and from working hard in online selling,” she wrote in Filipino.

According to Aubrey Carampel’s “24 Oras Weekend” report, Sunday, the house is currently under renovation before Lovely and Benj move into it permanently.

Before venturing into online selling, Lovely revealed she tried new things—even undergoing certification to be a fitness trainer—until Benj suggested putting her bags up for sale.

“One time, we went into the room then my bag storage collapsed. He told me, ‘Sell them. It’s already a lot.’ With that, I put my phone up and started going live,” she said.

“Then I started looking for other things in our room that I can sell on that night,” she added.

Her business then started to grow and since then, a lot of sellers have been reaching out to her to help sell their items. Meaning, her collection is on “consignment.”

“Because they were also affected by the pandemic and no one’s buying their stuff, they ask me to sell their items, instead,” she said.

Apart from other sellers’ items, Lovely said she also has some which she asked from fellow celebrities.

Their business started with just Lovely and Benj, but now they have staff who are currently living with them.

With their success, the couple said they want to become inspirations to other people.

“It is online selling that helped us amid the pandemic so we want to share this to those who want to start again,” Lovely said.

“We’re so blessed because we can use our profession to share and help others stand up again,” Benj added.

Last March, Lovely and Benj also bought a new car from their online business savings.
