5 things to watch out for on the second season of ‘Lupin’

The last scene of “Lupin” Part 1 on Netflix has left viewers and fans wanting more.

Its second season picks up right from the first season’s last scene, where Assane Diop (Omar Sy) and his son Raoul (Etan Simon) go through mischief with one of Hubert Pelligrini’s men.

“Lupin” fans are even more curious as to what Officer Yousseff Guedira (Soufiane Gurrab) would do after finding Assane as he slowly connects the dots.

Here are a few more things you can expect Lupin to give you in its second season.

1. Assane’s no-fail and unexpected tactics

Assane has almost always been one step ahead of his enemies when it comes to his no-fail tricks and smart tactics.

In the second season, his moves will only become more unpredictable that even viewers will be surprised to see unexpected stunts from him as he seeks justice for his father Babakar Diop (Fargass Assandé) against Hubert Pelligrini (Hervé Pierre).

2. Pelligrini and Dunmont’s villainous acts

Hubert and Gabriel Dunmont’s (Vincent Garanger) villainous acts just continue on in the second season, not stopping from Rauol’s kidnapping.

They will do everything in their power to bring Assane down and hide their criminal doings.

Will Assane finally get justice and get rid of Pelligrini and Dunmont or will they get away with their villainous acts through their corrupt connections within the system? It’s a question that has been ringing in viewers’ heads since the first episode.

The real question is: Will it finally be answered in “Lupin” Part 2?

3. Mysterious accomplices

Assane might look like he’s doing all his tricks and tactics on his own but while he is the mastermind, he’s also got back up.

Aside from his longtime sidekick Benjamin Ferel (Antoine Gouy), they will find accomplices in unexpected people in the second season. Who? It’s a surprise you need to find out on your own.

4. More action scenes

We mean it won’t be a French crime heist series without exciting action scenes!

The second season is packed with more action and chasing scenes compared to the first season. From the first episode up until the last chapter, it’s definitely gonna leave you on the edge of your seat.

5. A cliffhanger ending anew

Omar already confirmed for a third season with “Lupin” last May, which meant the second season would more likely give viewers a cliffhanger ending anew.

However, listen to us when we tell you that the ending is a much better cliffhanger than the first season.

“Lupin” 2 stars Omar Sy, Hervé Pierre, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Shirine Boutella, and Soufiane Guerrab, among others.

The show is created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan  and directed by Ludovic Bernard (episodes 6 & 7) and Hugo Gélin (episodes 8, 9 & 10).

It is produced by Gaumont Télévision (Isabelle Degeorges, Nathan Franck).

Just like the first part, the second part will be composed of five episodes.
