New 'Voltes V: Legacy' photo shows Prince Zardoz's iconic sword up close
Ready to see more of "Voltes V: Legacy" coming to life?
Direk Mark Reyes just posted an exciting HD look at an "iconic scene" that features the sword of Prince Zardoz a.k.a. Prince Heinel in the original anime series.
Fans were delighted to see how similar the sword was to an original animated clipping from 1977. Production also got a lot of praise for including some awesome details on the sword's handle and blade.
"The sword has been drawn," Direk Mark captioned the photo, adding the hashtags #voltesvlegacy #princezardoz #1977to2021#iconicscene.
As"Voltes V" fans would know, Prince Zardoz is the leader of Boazania who wishes to conquer Earth. He will be played by Kapuso actor Martin del Rosario.
As for the team, Miguel Tanfelix will be volting in as Steve Armstrong; Radson Flores as Mark Gordon; Matt Lozano as “Big Bert” Armstrong; Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson; and Raphael Landicho as “Little Jon” Armstrong.
"Voltes V: Legacy" officially began lock-in taping last month.
Direk Mark has also given fans a sneak-peek at the incredible set for Camp Big Falcon, the Boazanian Skull Ship, and the Underground Base.
