Vincent van Gogh biopic 'Loving Vincent' is now on Netflix

The animated biopic of Vincent van Gogh, "Loving Vincent," is now on Netflix.

The film has been made available for streaming on the platform starting Thursday.

"Loving Vincent" is the world's first fully painted film, with 125 painters creating 65,000 beautiful oil paintings just to bring the Dutch painter's story to life.

Set in the year after van Gogh's death in 1891 Paris, the film follows the journey of Armand Roulin, who was tasked to deliver a letter from van Gogh to his brother Theo.

He eventually ends up traveling to Auvers, Paris, where van Gogh lived and died.

Written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman, "Loving Vincent" first hit the big screen in 2017. —JCB, GMA News
