Olivia Rodrigo on her debut album 'Sour': 'Most special thing I've ever done in my life'
Olivia Rodrigo took to Instagram to share her thoughts on her debut album "Sour" shortly after its release on Friday.
The Filipino-American artist shared several photos with the team who made the album possible, thanking them for supporting her throughout the process.
Olivia said she poured her heart out on the album, which contains 11 tracks including her debut song "driver's license."
"Every song is so personal and close to my heart. Getting to share them with people is the most special thing I've ever done in my life," she wrote.
The album also includes her hit breakup anthem "deja vu" and the single she recently released called "good 4 u."
"I'm so lucky songwriting and music exists. I hope you guys enjoy the 34 minutes and 46 seconds of me spilling my guts out that is called sour," Olivia said.
"Thank you for helping me turn all my unhappy feelings into one of the best moments of my life."
Olivia played Gabriella Montez in the Disney+ mockumentary musical drama "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series."
The role was played by Vanessa Hudgens in the original "High School Musical" film series.
