'High School Musical' stars Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman to reunite in a Christmas film


"High School Musical" stars Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are set to reunite in a Christmas film titled "A Christmas Dance Reunion."

Monique announced the news on her social media accounts.

On Twitter, Monique posted two photos with Corbin—one where she had her arms around him, and another with the poster for their new film.

"How it started. How it's going," she wrote in the caption of her post.

Meanwhile, on her Instagram account, Monique posted a GIF version of the poster and said the film was "the hardest secret to keep."

The film will be showcased on Lifetime TV which Monique said has "always been a dream" of hers.

"Never in a million years did I think I'd get to share the screen with one of my favorite people!" she wrote.

"Corbin Bleu & I are SO excited to join the It's a Wonderful Lifetime this winter in A Christmas Dance Reunion," she added.

According to Vulture, Monique will play a lawyer named Lucy Mortimer, who returns to her old holiday getaway and crosses paths with her childhood Christmas Dance partner Barrett Brewster (played by Corbin).

The Christmas film will reunite the HSM sweethearts for the first time since the HSM trilogy, where Monique played Taylor and Corbin played Chad, best friends to Gabriela (Vanessa Hudgens) and Troy (Zac Efron).
