Philippines' first-ever Netflix anime series 'Trese' is premiering on June 11
"Trese" is finally hitting our screens this June 11!
Netflix made the announcement through a video teaser on Thursday.
The streaming giant's official Twitter account also shared a poem to hype up the Philippines' first-ever Netflix anime series.

The poem read:
Bukas ng alas nuwebe
sabi ng isang duwende“buksan ang iyong mata, takasan ang tainga.”Mayroong hiwagang
bumabalot sa patikim na paparating-
Hindi mo pa natutuklasan,
At maaring hindi inaasahan.
'Wag kalimutang bigkasin ang mga katagang: “tabi-tabi po.”
"Trese" is an anime series based on the Filipino fantasy, crime-horror comic book of the same name created by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo.
The story which is set in Manila is about mythical creatures of Philippine folklore who live in hiding amongst humans.
Last March, it was revealed that "Pretty Little Liars" star Filipino-Canadian actress Shay Mitchell and Liza Soberano will be voicing Alexandra Trese.
Other Netflix shows set for release in 2021 include "The Way of the Household, Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, High Rise Invasion, Baki Hanma, Spriggan, Japan Sinks, Godzilla Singular Point, and Castlevania. —Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/JCB, GMA News
