‘Jewel In the Palace’ star Lee Young Ae’s thriller film ‘Bring Me Home’ can now be viewed in PHL

Viewers in the Philippines can now watch “Jewel in the Palace” star Lee Young Ae’s 2019 thriller film “Bring Me Home”!

In the film, Lee Young Ae plays a determined mother who goes through an unbending search for her son who has been missing for six years.

Out of nowhere, she gets a tip from an anonymous caller. With his information, Lee Young Ae’s character finds herself in a fishing village that is hiding its own secrets.

Directed by Seung Woo Kim, the film also features “Itaewon Class” actor Yoo Jae Myung and “The World of the Married” star Park Hae Joon.

Lee Young Ae rose to fame and became part of the first Hallyu wave in the Philippines after she starred in the hit Korean drama series “Jewel in the Palace.”

The series, which revolved around the first female royal physician, was aired by GMA Network in the early 2000s.
