Mario Maurer sends love to his ‘fan’ Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo

“Crazy Little Thing Called Love” star Mario Maurer has a lot of Filipino fans, and Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo happens to be one of them.

The Thai actor was asked about the Ilongga beauty queen during a virtual media conference on Tuesday, where he was introduced as one of the endorsers of telecommunications brand TNT.

“I heard that Rabiya is kind of a fan of mine, and I’m very happy to hear that,” he told reporters.

“And you know I wish her good luck because I know she’s in the competition, so I wish [her] good luck,” he added.

Rabiya is currently in Hollywood, Florida, to represent the Philippines at the 2020 Miss Universe pageant to be held May 16.

While greeting her Thai fans in a video posted online, Rabiya briefly mentioned she was a “huge fan” of Mario after watching his BL (boys love) series.
