Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun and Hwang In Youp to headline new K-drama 'The Sound of Magic'

A series adaptation of the popular webtoon "Annarasumanara" is in the works!

Netflix on Thursday confirmed the production of Korean drama "The Sound of Magic" starring Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun and Hwang In Youp.

Directed by Kim Sung Youn ("Itaewon Class"), "The Sound of Magic" is a touching drama about Yoon Ah Yi, a girl who had to grow up too fast, and Rieul, a mysterious magician who — although grown-up — wants to remain as a kid.

Ji Chang Wook ("Lovestruck in the City") will play Rieul, a mysterious magician who lives in an abandoned amusement park. Choi Sung Eun ("Beyond Evil") is set to play the role of Yoon Ah Yi, working closely with Ji Chang Wook.

Rising star Hwang In Youp will play Yoon Ah-yi’s classmate Na Il Deung.

Netflix has yet to announce the target release date of the new show. —JCB, GMA News
