Zoren Legaspi joins Highway Patrol Group as volunteer
Zoren Legaspi has joined the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) as a volunteer to encourage responsible motorcycle riding.
In Aubrey Carampel's report for "24 Oras," the actor said that he already graduated from the eight-week riding training.
According to the Official Gazette, the HPG is tasked to enforce "traffic laws and regulations, promote safety along the highways and enhance traffic safety consciousness."
As an HPG volunteer, Zoren reminded fellow motorists that it is important to learn proper driving from professionals.
"They shouldn't think training is a waste of time because when you have a motorbike, you're excited to go out there, you're excited to have fun, excited to ride your bike," he said in a mix of English and Filipino.
"You're just excited and then you forget, 'Wait, what's the right way to ride a bike?" he said.
