'Jujutsu Kaisen' announces first movie

The first season of "Jujutsu Kaisen" just came to an end, but worry not, there's more to go!

TOHO Animation unveiled a teaser for the anime's first movie, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie."

It will be a prequel as it is adapting "Jujutsu Kaisen 0," which revolves around the original main character Yuta Okkotsu, who is haunted and protected by the cursed spirit of his childhood friend. He is recruited to enroll at Jujutsu High where he learns to control his power.

"Jujutsu Kaisen 0," released in 2017, was just supposed to be a short series. The following year, however, author Gege Akutami's sequel series "Jujutsu Kaisen" was picked up by Weekly Shonen Jump.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" follows Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna. —JCB, GMA News
