'Dr. Stone' anime announces sequel with exciting teaser

The adventure is not over yet for Senku and the rest of Kingdom of Science because "Dr. Stone" is getting a sequel!

Toho Animation just dropped a short trailer, revealing that the crew's next adventure will be in high seas.

"The next adventure of the science kingdom-a special PV for the great voyage is also open to the public," the show's official Twitter said.

The second season of the popular anime just concluded with Episode 11.

It is not clear if the teaser is for a third season or a film.

"Dr. Stone" is based on the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi.

It follows highschooler Taiju, who wakes up in a world full of statues, several millennia after all of humanity was petrified. His science-loving friend Senku, who had been awake for a few months, wants to kickstart civilization with the power of science. —JCB, GMA News
