BTS breaks another Guinness world record after big win at Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards
BTS broke yet another Guinness world record after they swept trophies at the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards last week.
In an announcement on Thursday, Guinness revealed that the K-pop band broke the record for the "most Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards won by a music group" after BTS won five in total.

In 2018, the group was given the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice award for Favorite Global Music Star. In 2020, they were awarded with Favorite Music Group and in 2021, they bagged three, namely Favorite Music Group, Favorite Global Music Star and Favorite song.
Just last week, Guinness officially announced that BTS' "Dynamite" claimed the record for the "most simultaneous viewers for a music video on YouTube Premieres."
Currently, the award-winning group holds 16 records, including the first K-pop act to reach No. 1 on the US Artist 100, best-selling album (South Korea), most viewers for a music concert live stream and most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours. —Kaela Malig/JCB, GMA News
