Ryan Reynolds just watched 'Green Lantern' for the first time and here's the verdict
Zack Snyder's "Justice League" is premiering today, and Ryan Reynolds found the perfect way to celebrate it — watching "Green Lantern" for the first time.
Reynolds starred in the 2011 film based on the DC superhero of the same name. It was widely criticized and generally received negative reviews.
Now it seems like Reynolds found the guts to watch it.
Excited to see the Snyder Cut. But ahead of its debut – and with the aid of a good amount of #AviationGin - tonight at 6pm EST I’ll do something I’ve never done: actually watch Green Lantern. Happy #StPatricksDay

And the verdict? Apparently, "it ain't a tragedy!"
"Maybe it’s the Aviation Gin talking, but #GreenLantern was nothing to fear!" he said. "Hundreds of incredible crew and cast members did amazing work — and while it’s not perfect, it ain’t a tragedy. Next time I won’t wait a decade to watch."

"Green Lantern" follows Hal Jordan, a test pilot who is selected to become the first human member of the Green Lantern Corps. Hal is given a ring that grants him superpowers, but with it comes the responsibility of defeating the evil Parallax who is set on destroying Earth.
According to reports, Snyder almost tapped Reynolds to appeared in his "Justice League" as Green Lantern, but he also had a bigger plan for the DC hero. —JCB, GMA News
