Live-action 'Cowboy Bebop' wraps up filming first season

The first season of the "Cowboy Bebop" live-action series adaptation has finally wrapped up!

Series star Daniella Pineda made the announcement on Instagram.

"I’m coming back on the air to say.....Season 1 of COWBOY BEBOP is finally, finished," she said.

Netflix ordered a live-action adaptation as early as 2018, but production was halted after actor John Cho suffered a knee injury. Production was closed down once again due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"Cowboy Bebop" is based on the classic anime series that follows a bounty hunter crew traveling in their spaceship called Bebop in the year 2071.

The 26-episode show aired in 1998. —JCB, GMA News
