Al fresco dining to continue at Makati Street Meet, Circuit Makati

You can now continue enjoying al fresco dining in some parts of Makati and Bonifacio Global City!

According to Ayala Land, its Makati Street Meet, an open-air dining along Rada and Leviste Streets in Legaspi and Salcedo Village, and Riverside Sessions, a setup at Circuit Makati, will now operate on a regular basis.

The company said that in response to the clamor of restaurant owners and customers, Makati Street Meet will resume on the following dates: March 14, April 4, April 18, May 2, May 16, June 13 and June 27.

Riverside Sessions, meanwhile, will reopen on March 14, April 18, May 16 and June 27.

The outdoor activities “had a resounding effect on the Legaspi Village community,” said Carlo Lorenzana, owner of Nikkei and other restaurants in the Makati central business district. “It has a world-class appeal and our area needs events such as this.”

At BGC, meanwhile, portions of 5th Avenue go car-free every weekend so residents can freely explore and eat outdoors among the many dining choices at Bonifacio High Street. There is also a weekend market that sells fresh vegetables and produce from displaced Benguet farmers.

Before the pandemic, the Makati Street Meet was held every month for the past three years on Paseo de Roxas.
